VIDEO QUALITY: The BDP-S770 has the newest HDMI Output, version 1.4. This will give you 1080p/24 playback with standard 2D Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray Discs. The new 1.4 HDMI does not mean you have to go out and purchase a new HDMI cable. If you already have a High Speed HDMI cable, this will be sufficient to transfer the 3D signal to your TV. Of course to display 3D images, you will require a 3D HDTV and a pair of 3D glasses.
